Shell Logo Shell Sells OML 29

Refining capacity in Nigeria, lower than other African countries – Report

New Oil Fields Will Double Chad s Output By 2016

As new fields come on stream Chad’s finance minister Kordje Bedoumra says the West African country expects to see its oil production rise from its current 100,000 barrels per day to double that amount by the end of 2015.   “Our expectation is that by the end of this year we can move to 130,000 bpd and by the end of next year probably double that production because we will have new fields,” Bedoumra said in an interview.... Wentworth Resources to earn $140 million in Tanzania s LNG project by 2019

OIL DISCOVERED OFFSHORE SENEGAL

 Cairn together with its joint venture partners announced that the FAN-1 exploration well, offshore Senegal, has discovered oil. Circle Oil announce Operating Update on Sebou Permit, onshore Morocco

Shippers set to access West African Gas Pipeline

Eni Finds 300M Barrels Offshore Angola

Italy's Eni reported Wednesday that it has made a new oil discovery at the Ochigufu exploration prospect, located in deep water off Angola. Ochigufu is the 10th commercial oil discovery in the country's Block 15/06 and is estimated to contain 300 million barrels in place.
