Uganda - Tanga Port Oil Pipeline Construction to Begin in August

Construction of the envisaged 4 billion US-dollar (about 8 trillion/-) pipeline to transport crude oil from Kabale in Uganda to Tanga Port is slated to commence in August, pending ongoing discussions between the two governments and investors.   The Managing Director of Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC), Dr James Mataragio, said the 24-inch conduit to cover 1,403 kilometres is expected to convey 200,000 barrels of crude oil.... Tanzania, Uganda Agree Construction of New Oil Pipeline

SacOil Signs Agreement for Gas Pipeline From Mozambique to Gauteng

Tanzania Discovers More Gas on Ruvu Basin

  Tanzania has made yet another discovery of natural gas reserves totalling 2.17 trillion cubic feet (tcf) along Ruvu Basin in Coast Region. The discovery has been made at a block operated by Dodsal Hydrocarbons and Power Tanzania Limited owned and chaired by UAE-based billionaire, Dr Rejan Kilachand.   It brings the sum of proven natural gas reserves to 57.27 tcf in both offshore and onshore wells. Oryx Builds LPG Liquefaction Plant in Tanzania

Eni gets approval for floating LNG Plant in Mozambique

$1.9 billion to be invested in fertilizer plant by Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation

Quantum Power to construct gas storage facility in Africa

 Quantum Power and Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) have signed an agreement for the construction and operation of the Liquefied Natural Gas storage facility in Ghana. The facility will be constructed at Tema.   The Tema LNG project will receive, store, regasify and deliver, about 3.40 million tons of LNG per annum. African Nation to connect 1.2 million homes with natural gas
