Nigeria reclaims position as Africa’s top oil producer

Nigeria may have reclaimed its position as Africa’s top oil producer beating Angola. Angola had led the African oil producing countries with its 1.7 million barrels of crude oil a day, well above Nigeria’s 1.5 million barrels per day, in September 2016, for seven straight months. Tanzania: EWURA Announces Drop in Petrol Prices

Kenya: All Oil & Gas Contracts Signed By Government Should be Made Public - Civil Society

Tanzania: Prices of Petrol, Diesel Skyrocket, Kerosene Remains Same

Vehicle owners will now pay more on every litre of petrol they purchase as the petroleum regulator raises prices for the products in response to a depreciating local currency and increasing global prices.   The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (Ewura) in its monthly pricing formula released on Wednesday reveals that Motorists will have to pay Sh101.54 more per every litre of Petrol in March. East Africa: Tanzanian Energy Firm to Take Over Kenya Oil Unit

Kenya: Global Oil Refiners Show Interest in Kenyan Crude Samples

Kenya: Fuel Prices Go Up; Petrol Hits Sh100 Per Litre in Nairobi
