Tanzania: Natural Gas Comes Ashore

Natural gas discovered off the coast of Tanzania is now reaching the consumer as the first homes in Dar es Salaam are connected up. The hope is that energy will now become cheaper. 2D seismic in Ethiopia s Rift basin Area set for Q4

Tanzania Gas Gains at U.S.$3 Billion

Angola produced 1.7 million barrels of oil per day in July

 Angola produced 1.7 million barrels of oil per day last July, Petroleum Minister José Maria Botelho de Vasconcelos announced on Wednesday in Luanda. Tanzania: Dar Seeks to Train 300 in Gas, Oil Sub-Sector

East Africa surpasses Middle East with high paying jobs in oil and gas

 The study by Von Essen, providers of tax advisory services to international contractors, said that a growing number of oil and gas jobs offering more than US$171,172 per annum are being created due to increased exploration and extraction activity in the continent. Kenya's import bill has accelerated by 727 million U.S. dollars
